Yoshi's New Island

A digital painting of Yoshi and friends, in the style of his new Nintendo 3DS game, Yoshi's New Island. I wanted to recreate the game's sketchy, vibrant art style, which looks as though everything was created with crayons. I also made a point to include as many familiar faces as I could, including Baby Mario and some iconic baddies such as Lakitu and Shy Guy. I also liked the giant eggs and new beanstalk boss, both of which I incorporated into the piece.
